Email notification (1.1.6)

Hi, I have a problem using the email-notifcation. If someone opens a new thread no email is send. If someone replies to a post, the webmaster and the owner of the parent post get emails, but the email sais, that a new thread has been opened. Can you help me with that problem? Thanks
