Hi, iam new to this list. I have been translating locallang files in the IIXML ext. for my danish site but ran into following problem: approx. half way down the list in the "typo3conf/l10n/dk/sr_feuser_register/pi1/dk.locallang.xm" file i am unable to save any more translations. Anyone who can explain this? Kind regards Kim Holberg Andersen |

All translations for the extensions sr_feuser_register and sr_email_subscribe are already on the TYPO3 Translation Server. See http://translation.typo3.org/index.php?id=69 for more info. Thanks for your translations, but please get in contact with a Danish translation from the translation team. He will organize the translation for your language and for all TYPO3 extensions which are already on the Translation Server. Regards, Franz Holzinger |

Thanks for info, I just tried to update from repository but it came out with error only for sr_feuser_register (set for to fetch danish). Is this also a matter for the translation team or is it considered a bug? Regards Kim Holberg Andersen |

You should ask this on the Translation list. They know how to repair this. news://news.netfielders.de typo3.translation.general Regards, Franz Holzinger |

Kim Holberg Andersen |
Sorry to bother you again, but my problem still exists in the sr_feuser_register. I have joined the translation group, but no one seems to be able to or interested in giving an idea to the case. So here we go again: I cannot merge the pi1/locallang.xml (da) from the translation server with the file on my own server. Half of the fields are still empty after merging, and furthermore, i cannot translate the fields manually. It just doesn't accept any new input. I am a bit desperate, because half of my webside is in danish and the other half still in english - it does look a bit silly! Kind regards, Kim Holberg Andersen |
23-03-08 17:34:03 | what exactly? |
Franz Holzinger |
What do you want to do exactly? You want to merge the Danish translations with another file. Do you have additional translations? You should translate them on the translation server, if possible. Otherwise you can use a text editor like Kate under LINUX. |

Kim Holberg Andersen |
My problem was, that half of the danish translation was empty and when i tried to either import og merge the files from the translation server, my files would still not accept the whole file. In the end i copied the file from the translation server, pasted the text via BB Edit into the file and it now works fine - but not quite the authorized way...regards Kim |

Franz Holzinger |
So which Danish translations are missing? Would you be so kind to add them to the translation server? Regards, Franz |

Kim Holberg Andersen |
Well...the problem was in my files, not on the translation side. So as far as i can see, most of the danish files is correct on the server. I just could not import/merge them, and therefor thought that the files on the server was half empty. But i will go through the server files and see if any needs update or new translations. Best regards Kim |
